Posh for not a lot. Very cheap business class flights to Australia

My lovely friends at Bridge & Wickers have just announced a Bank holiday weekend 3 day business class sale on Ethiad airlines with business class flights to Australia for only £2399. This is a very very good price! Business class tickets to Australia usually start around the £3k mark so quite a few hundred pounds saved off that with this offer. Not to mention Ethiad has an outstanding business class service, and you can choose between Sydney and Melbourne as your Aussie destination.

Gotta be quick though as the sale starts tomorrow 28th August and ends Tuesday 31st August.

Fall-off-your-chair price of flight to Australia! £449 return

WOW this is bl**dy cheap! Only £449 return. Seriously good price. I've not seen a return flight for under £500 to Australia for a long time.

OK there is a bit of a catch as its with a low cost airline - AirAsia and you do have to book 2 lots of return flights - 1 return to Kuala Lumpur in Malaysia and then another return flight from Kuala Lumpur Malaysia to Australia but I am thinking a few extra minutes of booking shenanigans for a £200-300 saving probably worth it?
BOOK QUICKLY - offer ends 19th August 2010

Uluru marathon – the ultimate outback Australia run

The Australian Outback marathon is brand new this year (2010) and is a great way to get your feet 'dusty' (& very red too!) in the outback. Visiting Uluru and the 'Red Centre' is always an incredible experience but to run and sight see at the same time sounds fantastic.

Want to go on my holiday? Great places to stay in Tropical North Queensland

We stayed in some amazing accommodation while visiting Tropical North Queensland last month. Obviously I do a fair bit (OK tons!) of research before we go, but I also got a lot of help from the fabulous team and Bridge and Wickers. I like booking my holidays to Australia with Bridge and Wickers as it's pretty much a no-brainer as they have high standards like me :) As you can imagine I am a reasonably (OK, very!) demanding client so anyone with the patience to deal with me must be good.

So here's where we stayed and a mini review of each place:

Reining in the Rainforest – easy ways to experience the Australian rainforest

Now parts of the Rainforest in Australia are in the Tropics in Queensland, and it can definitely get quite hot and steamy in there, but you don't need to be an intrepid explorer to enjoy them.

Here's my tips for easy (baby and child friendly) ways to see the rainforests in Australia.

Here's my mini guide to how you can 'rein in' the rainforest - and when I say 'easy' ways to explore the rainforest I mean 'so easy you can take your baby and small children with you easy'...
